Home Minister Khand praises Indian assistance to Nepal’s health and education sector

September 4, Rupandehi: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has praised Indian assistance to Nepal’s efforts for the development areas of education, health, physical infrastructure.

He said this while inaugurating the two-storied building and laboratory of Shreeram Naresh Yadav Adarsha Model Secondary School at Rohini Rural Municipality-3, Swanimanagr in Rupandehi on Saturday. He said that Nepal was gaining momentum as a dynamic member country of the UN.

Home Minister Khand further noted that the Constitution has put the Nepali people in the centre of power and established the people as the sovereign power of the country.

Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava said it was crucial to note that the Ramnaresh Yadav Ideal Model School has 40 percent, female students.

Also speaking on the occasion various speakers highlighted the need to further consolidate Nepal-India relations. Home Minister Khand and Ambassador Srivastava had jontly inaugurated the newly-constructed building.
