India visit to strengthen bilateral relations: PM Deuba

April 2, New Delhi: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said his visit to India will bolster Nepal-India relations and contribute in bilateral economic cooperation.

PM Deuba, who reached New Delhi, on Friday afternoon, said this during a ceremony organized by the Nepali Embassy.

The Prime Minister informed that during his visit, significant announcements would be made in the sectors of energy, agriculture, health and transportation.

Similarly, some memorandum of understanding (MoUs) were also on the exchange list.

Prime Minister Deuba said the high-level visits exchanged between Nepal and India from time to time would be fruitful to enhance bilateral relations.

He also lauded the role played by Nepali migrants in assisting Nepal during COVID 19 pandemic.

Prime Minister Deuba shared the government’s priority of recovering and enhancing the economy dented by the COVID crisis for rapid economic development.
