Pakistan will continue its support to Nepali students: Ambassador Shah (audio report)

March 19, Kathmandu: The Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal Syed Haider Shah on Saturday said that the educational scholarships provided by Pakistan to Nepali students reflected the closeness of people-to-people relations between the two countries.
During a program in Kathmandu to honour Nepali students who graduated from various educational institutions of Pakistan, Ambassador Shah said that Nepali students made life-long friends while in Pakistan and carried with them positive memories of their stay in Pakistan.
He also assured of Pakistan’s continued support of educational scholarships to Nepali students in the future as well.

Also speaking during the program, the Former Chief of Army Staff of Nepal Army Rajendra Chhetri appreciated the support of Pakistan for Nepal’s development, especially in the field of technical education.
Chettri also thanked Pakistan for equipping Nepali students with quality education at its renowned educational institutions and hoped for Pakistan’s continued support.
The graduates were recipients of scholarships under Pakistan Technical Assistance Programme (PTAP) in MBBS, BDS, D. Pharmacy, BS Engineering.
