Health Ministry halts scheduled booster dose campaign against Covid-19 citing need of more preparations

Kathmandu: The scheduled booster dose campaign of anti-covid-19 vaccines to senior citizens and chronic disease patients has been halted.

Issuing a press release on Tuesday, Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr. Sangita Mishra said the booster dose campaign scheduled to begin from Tuesday had been called off as additional discussion was needed on technical issues and more preparation was necessary.

Dr. Mishra, however, informed that the regular vaccination drive to various target groups was running smoothly.
