Surya Bahadur Thapa experienced and able personality: PM Deuba

September 23, Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the late leader Surya Bahadur Thapa was an experienced, practical, and able person, who became Prime Minister not only in the panchayat system but also in multi-party democracy.

Releasing the former prime minister Surya Bahadur Thapa’s autobiography titled ‘Mero Nau Dashak’ (My Nine Decades), at a program organized by the Surya Bahadur Thapa Foundation on Thursday, PM Deuba said that late Thapa is one of the unforgettable persons in Nepali politics.

Prime Minister Deuba said the autobiography of late Thapa could be an interesting and solid resource to know about Nepal’s politics and history.

The book has incorporated the life history of noted politician Thapa- the experiences he had during his childhood, youth, and adulthood.
