Janardan Sharma reappointed as Finance Minister

Kathmandu: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has appointed Janardan Sharm to the post of Finance Minister on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The Office of the President informed that Finance Minister Sharma would be sworn-in at 5:30 this afternoon at the Office of the President, Shital Niwas.

Earlier, Minister Sharma had resigned from the post after allegations that he allowed unauthorized person’s involvement during budget formation.

A parliamentary probe committee that investigated the case dismissed the allegation citing lack of evidence.
