Communication technology to reach every Nepali household by 2025: Communication Minister Karki

Kathamndu: Communication and Information Technology Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has returned home wrapping up his participation in the World Telecommunications Development Conference held in Rwanda. 

Talking to media persons upon his arrival at the Tribhuban International Airport today, Minister Karki said in the conference on behalf of the Nepal government that he pledged to expand communication technology to every Nepali household by 2025.

He vowed to realize the pledges made in the information technology sector despite geographical remoteness and poverty.

During his stay in Kigali, Minister Karki claimed to have met communication ministers of developed countries like Japan, the USA and China and discussed multilateral cooperation.
