Shah and Dangol maintain lead in Mayor and Deputy Mayor post respectively

Kathmandu: Balendra Shah and Sunita Dangol are leading in the post of chief and deputy chief of Kathmandu Metropolitan City respectively.

According to the results so far, Shah, who has fielded an independent candidate has maintained his lead with 11,792 votes.

Similarly, Keshav Sthapit of the CPN-UML is following Shah with 6,476 votes.

As per the latest update, CPN-UML’s Dangol is leading with 11694 votes for the post of Deputy Mayor. Likewise, Rameshwor Shrestha of the CPN (Unified Socialist) polled 3442 votes in the election.
