President Bhandari urges Election Commission to ensure free and fair election

Kathmandu: President Bidhya Devi Bhandari held a meeting with the office-bearers of the Election Commission on Wednesday.

During the meeting held at Sheetal Niwas on Wednesday, the President inquired about the preparation for the May 13 election.

Issuing a statement today, the Election Commission said the president suggested the commission ensure the right to vote to all the eligible voters.   

On the occasion, Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya told the president that the election preparations had neared the final phase.
