Election Commission apprises PM Deuba about local level elections

April 7, Kathmandu: The Election Commission has apprised Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba about the preparations and progress regarding the upcoming local level elections.

The office-bearers of the Election Commission had gone to the Prime Minister’s residence on Wednesday to apprise the Prime Minister about the local elections.

During the meeting with the Prime Minister, Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya informed Prime Minister Deuba that the election programs were moving in line with the election calendar and the commission was capable of holding the local elections on the stipulated date.
