Free health camp organized in Kalimati by Pakistan educated Nepali doctors

March 26, Kathmandu: The Embassy of Pakistan in collaboration with the Nepal-Pakistan Friendship and Cultural Association (NPFCA) on Saturday organized a free medical camp at Jana Prabhat Higher Secondary School, Ward No. 13, Kalimati, Kathmandu.
The free medical camp was jointly inaugurated by CPN(ML) Chairman and former Deputy Prime Minister CP. Mainali, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal Syed Haider Shah, and the Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Hari Prabha Khadgi (Shrestha).
Nepali doctors and para-medical staff, who had graduated from various medical intuitions of Pakistan, provided free services during the medical camp.
Free medical treatment and three months’ medicines were provided to more than 400 men, women and children. Patients were also apprised about preventive measures against COVID-19.
Ambassador Shah also handed over a gift of Photocopy Machine to Deputy Mayor Hari Prabha Khadgi for Jana Prabhat Higher Secondary School.

In his remarks, Ambassador Shah said that the free medical camp was a reflection of people-to-people relations between Pakistan and Nepal. He thanked NPFCA, doctors and para-medical staff for upholding the spirit of serving humanity.
Ambassador Shah also assured Pakistan’s continued support for such medical camps in future as well.
