COVID-19 update: 126 new cases with one death

Kathamndu: Total 126 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the last 24 hours across the country.

It came to light through PCR and antigen tests performed on 8,933 people during the same period, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. With this, the total number of COVID-19 infection has reached 977,380 in the country till now.

Similarly, during the same period, 385 infected ones got recovery, taking the recovery caseload to 985,193. The recovery rate is 98.0 percent, said the Ministry.

Currently, there are altogether 7,242 active cases of COVID-19 in the country.

Meanwhile, a person died due to contagion in a day, taking the death toll to 11,945. Also today, 37,192 people were vaccinated against the deadly infection, informed the Ministry.
