Coalition meeting today to discuss prospect of tabling MCC in parliament; Parchanda and Nepal rigid in their stance

February 20, Kathmandu: The ruling coalition is meeting on Sunday to discuss the prospects of tabling the American grant project Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) in the parliament.
The top leaders of the coalition, the Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, the CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and the CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal have all agreed to table MCC in the parliament. However, Chairmen duo Prachanda and Nepal have taken the stance that some provisions of the MCC pact should be amended.
The ruling coalition had also met on Friday to discuss MCC.
The meeting of the parliament has been called for 1 PM on Sunday.
