Kathmandu Triennale:  The largest presentation of contemporary art in Nepal to date

Kathmandu : The Kathmandu Triennale is set to be the largest presentation of contemporary art in Nepal to date.

The Triennale is organized by the Siddhartha Arts Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation. The Triennale will start virtually on the 11th of February and run until the 11th of March and will include physical exhibitions and will host workshops, performances, and discourses. 

The Triennale is more than just a mega art festival—it is informed by discourses of decolonization, migration and displacement, indigenous knowledge, and redefining the parameters of art beyond a Eurocentric lens.

It features indigenous artworks from not just Nepal but over 40 countries. The Triennale boasts countless artistic, social, as well as collective stories and narratives.
