‘Government sensitive to citizen’s health’

March 19, Kathmandu: Minister for Health and Population Birodh Khatiwada has said the government is sensitive to the health of citizens.

Inaugurating the Mandandeupur primary hospital building at Mandandeupur municipality-7 in Kavre on Friday, he assured confidence that the government would remain effortful for providing health services. Noting that the anti-COVID vaccination campaign is underway to protect citizens from the contagious coronavirus infection, the minister has urged the unvaccinated citizens to get inoculated in a timely manner.

As of now, specialized hospitals have been established for children, the army, police, and employees, Minister Khatiwada shared, adding the Ministry has decided to set up a hospital for the citizens above 50. He added the government had arranged administration of anti-COVID-19 vaccines to the people above 12 lately and so far most of the citizens of the age class have received inoculation.
