Tourism Ministry unveils 73-point Workplan to revive tourism sector

Kathmandu: The government has unveiled Tourism Sector Revival Workplan-2022.  

The Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Ministry unveiled the work plan amidst a programme at the ministry on Sunday.

Unveiling the work plan, Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Jeevan Ram Shrestha said the plan had been unveiled to revive the tourism sector hit hard by the corona pandemic.

Minister Shrestha claimed that the 73-point long-term and short-term plans were formulated defining the roles of each stakeholder.

He also said as Nepal has the potential to be a global tourism destination, the government had been planning to lead a campaign to promote the tourism sector in Nepal.
