Financial institutions also to remain closed every Saturday and Sunday from May 15

Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank has directed the financial institutions to implement the provision of weekly two-day holidays from May 15.

As per the directive issued on Wednesday, the banks and financial institutions will remain operational from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.

The Central Bank has also asked the financial institutions to ensure that their services would not be halted for consecutive three days.
