Pak Ambassador Shah pays farewell call to Vice President Pun

October 19, Kathmandu: The Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, Syed Haider Shah, on Wednesday paid a farewell call to Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun.
Ambassador Haider Shah thanked the Vice President for his audience and expressed gratitude for his continued support to the Embassy of Pakistan throughout his tenure.
During the meeting, matters related to mutual interest between the two countries were also discussed.
Vice President Pun appreciated Pakistan’s generous support to Nepali students for their education in the field of medical and technical education sectors.
He also appreciated Ambassador Shah’s active role and initiative in providing medical assistance to Nepal during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In reply, Ambassador Haider Shah also thanked the Honourable Vice President for the relief items sent by the Government of Nepal to Pakistan for flood survivors and expressed gratitude for the assistance.
Vice President Pun expressed his best wishes to Ambassador Shah and his family.
At the end of the meeting, Vice President Pun presented the Ambassador with a traditional Nepali Ceremonial Scarf (Khada) and Dhaka Topi (Cap).
