63 new COVID cases confirmed in 24 hours

Kathmandu: The country has recorded 63 COVID-19 cases with no fatality in the past 24 hours. The cases were confirmed from a total of 3,740 tests, according to a regular COVDI update released here on Saturday by the Ministry of Health and Population.

During the same period, 131 infected people have recovered from the deadly virus. With this, total recovery cases have reached 985,234. The recovery rate was 98.6 percent and fatality rate 1.2 percent.

Active infection cases were 1,966. At present, 1,902 infected people have been in home-isolation and 64 in institution-isolation. Similarly, 20 have been admitted to intensive care units.
