Parliamentary directs government to make timely amendments to Housing Codes

Kathmandu: The Development and Technology Committee of the House of Representatives has directed the government to make timely amendments to Housing Codes.

In the meeting of the committee held on Tuesday, committee president Kalyani Kumari Khadka directed the Urban Development Ministry to amend the house code 2015 and formulate a new housing code as per the geographical suitability.

Also speaking in the meeting, Urban Development Minister Met Mani Chaudhari pledged to amend the housing code after having discussions with experts in the field.
