Visiting Chinese Communist Party leader Liu calls on UML Chair Oli

Bhaktapur: The visiting Communist Party of China (CPC) foreign department chief, Liu Jianchao, paid a courtesy call on CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli at his residence in Balkot, Bhaktapur today.

UML leaders Rajan Bhattarai, Bishnu Rimal, and Pradip Gyawali, among others, were also present at the meeting.

Arriving in Kathmandu on Sunday, Liu is also scheduled to meet President Bidhyadevi Bhandari, CPN Unified Socialist chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal, and the respected leader of the party Jhala Nath Khanal.

Earlier, Chinese Foreign Minister Liu met with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka, and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.

Foreign department chief, Liu is scheduled to return to Beijing on Wednesday.
