Results of May 13 Local Level Election coming out from across the country

May 17, Kathmandu: The results of local-level elections held on the 13th of May are coming out from across the country. The Election Commission has informed that the results of 2 hundred and 19 municipalities and rural municipalities have come out so far. As per the update, the Nepali Congress has secured the most seats and the CPN UML is in the second position while the CPN Maoist Centre has won the third most seats.
Till this News was prepared Nepali Congress has secured wins in 1 hundred 3 local levels, CPN UML in 59, CPN Maoist Center in 45, Unified Socialist in 4, and others in 8 local levels.
Voting updates are being received from all metropolis as well.
As per the latest report, in Kathmandu Mayoral post-Independent candidate Balendra Shah has been leading the vote count with 9 thousand 7 hundred and 11 votes.
CPN-UML Candidate Keshav Sthapit is following him with 5 thousand 2 hundred 26 votes. Nepali Congress candidate Srijana Singh has received 4 thousand 5 hundred 47 votes.
Likewise, in the post of Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu, CPN UML Candidate Sunita Dangol has been leading with 65 hundred and 57 votes while her nearest rival, Rameshwor Shrestha of the CPN Unified Socialist has got 18 hundred and 55 votes.
Similarly, in Lalitpur metropolis, Chiribabu Maharjan of the Nepali Congress has been leading the vote counts with 7 thousand 2 hundred and 17 votes while his nearest rival Hari Krishna Byanjankar of the CPN UML has been following him with 3 thousand and 83 votes.
In the post of Deputy Mayor of Lalitpur, Manjali Shakya of the CPN UML has been leading the vote count with 3 thousand 6 hundred and 74votes. Her nearest rival Babu Raj Bajracharya of the CPN Maoist center has got 19 hundred 16 votes.
