President Bhandari stresses on ending injustices

March 7, Kathmandu: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said the injustices prevailing in society in the name of tradition must be ended.

The President said this during a programme organized to release a book ‘No Longer Untouchables’ at Shitalniwas on Sunday.

The book is written by Davinson Tracey.

The President further stressed that the community itself must be active to end ill customs.

President Bhandari said all State organs had equal roles to end discrimination facing Badi community. The implementation of laws made against discrimination helps wipe out injustices.
