Government is committed to holding local level elections on stipulated time: Minister Karki

Kathmandu: Communication and Information Technology Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki says the government is committed to holding the local level elections on the stipulated time.

During a visit to Gorkhapatra Corporation on Sunday, Communication Minister Karki reiterated the government’s commitment to conducting the elections of all three levels on the determined timeframe.

The Communication Minister urged the Gorkhaparta Corporation to make it more authentic and readable and said he was ready to support its reform.

Likewise, Communication Secretary Dr Baikuntha Aryal stressed the need for enhancing the corporation’s publication quality and contents.
