Electricity Regulatory Committee submits report to Energy Minister

Kathmandu: The committee formed to investigate the issues regarding competence and performance of the chairperson and members of the Electricity Regulatory Commission (ERC) on Sunday submitted the report to Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal.

A Cabinet meeting on December 23, 2021, had formed the committee as per Clause 9 of the Electricity Regulatory Commission, 2074 BS to investigate the complaints about the competence of the office bearers of the Commission to fulfil their duties and responsibilities. The committee is chaired by the former chief justice of the High Court Prakash Chandra Gajurel.
