Government to organize main function of National Earthquake Safety Day in Lalitpur-based Patan Darbar Square

Kathmandu: Government has decided to organize the main function of the National Earthquake Safety Day in Lalitpur-based Patan Darbar Square.

The Publicity Sub-committee of the 24th National Earthquake Safety Day on Wednesday informed that the main function would be held on January 16 to mark the Day.

Director of the National Society for Earthquake Technology, Ganesh Jimi said 52 programs would be organized across the country on the occasion, featuring mitigation of earthquake risk, preparedness and safe building.
