Health Ministry alert all to adopt safety measures to contain Covid-19

January 10, Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population has urged all to adopt high precautions and stay safe as covid-19 cases have started to rise in Nepal again.

The Ministry also urged all to adopt high precautions to contain the virus and stay safe.

Chief Executive Officer of the Central Covid-19 Unified Hospital, Prof. Doctor Bhupendra Kumar Basnet said the hospitalization rate and death rate from Covid infection had doubled from this week compared to the last week.

Prof. Dr Basnet further said preparations were being made to manage necessary resources in all the Unified Covid Hospitals as the number of infections had increased across the country.
