HURPES to hold AGM next month in Kapilvastu

Kathmandu: The 24th National Council Meeting and AGM of Human Rights and Peace Society (HURPES) have been scheduled to take place in Kapilvastu next month.

According to Society Chairperson Govinda Khanal, the event will be organised on February 4-5. It will be hosted by the HURPES Kapilvastu chapter at Jeetpur-4 and the theme of the event is ‘quality health service and scientific society: rights of all.

The main preparation committee has been formed under the coordination of Kapilvastu Chapter President Govinda Pokhrel and several sub-panels have also been formed to facilitate the event. The National Council is the supreme policy-making body of the HURPES.
