Saudi accuses Yemen rebels of seizing vessel in Red Sea

RIYADH, Jan 3, 2022 (AFP): Yemeni rebels have seized an Emirati-flagged vessel in the Red Sea off the key port of Hodeida, the Saudi-led coalition said on Monday.

It accused the Iran-backed Huthi rebels of “responsibility for this criminal act” against the vessel carrying medical supplies, the coalition fighting in support of Yemen’s internationally-recognised government said in a statement cited by the official Saudi Press Agency.
