Coronavirus infected dies

Kanchanpur, April 7: A 45-year-old coronavirus-infected of Bhimdutta municipality-15 died while undergoing treatment at Mahakali Hospital.

Diagnosed with coronavirus, he was admitted to the hospital. He had returned from Gujarat, India on April 4.

He died while being treated at the hospital, confirmed District Health Office Kanchanpur in charge of Shivaraj Sunar.

As informed, the dead body of the infected would be managed this afternoon. This is so far the first deadly incident in Kanchanpur following the second wave.

Earlier, as many as 14 coronaviruses infected had lost their lives in Kanchanpur. After the second wave, 64 out of 980 tested through Antigen have been found infected with the virus.

Twelve among them are undergoing treatment at the isolation centre of the Mahakali Hospital.

Two persons of Bhimdutta municipality-2 were diagnosed with the coronavirus in Kanchanpur.
