Nepal has been providing professional and other services to the United Nations since last 60 years: PM Oli

Kathmandu- Prime Minister K.P Sharma Oli has said that it is the responsibility of all the U.N. member states to make the United Nations Organization (UNO) a strong and unified centre to face the complex challenges wrought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a video prepared in advance for the occasion of 75th Anniversary of the United Nations, PM Oli argued that the United Nations was facing the dilemma of either continuity or transformation.

PM Oli also said that the 75th anniversary of the UNO was an opportunity to express collective commitment for peace, prosperity, and justice.

Expressing satisfaction over the increasing cooperation between Nepal and the United Nations, PM Oli said that Nepal had been providing professional and other services to the U.N. since the last six decades.

182 dignitaries including 88 heads of state and 44 heads of government will be virtually addressing the ceremony organized to mark the 75th Anniversary of the United Nations Organization.
