18 people injured in Road accident in Salyan

18 people have been injured in a bus accident in Salyan District this morning. 5 of them have been seriously injured.

The bus was heading towards Jajarkot from Surkhet and met with an accident at Banagad Kupinde Municipality 11 along the Chinchu Jajarkot road section.

According to police sources, the critically injured are 25 year old bus driver, Prakash Sharma of Bheriganaga municipality, Surkhet, 49 year old Shanta Kumar Tiruwa of Bheriganga municipality 9, 30 year old Hom Pangali of Surkhet Birendra Nagar municipality 12, 13 year old Anish Bishwokarma of Bangad Kupinde municipality1 in Salyan, and 21 year old Bhagwati Upadhaya of Chhedagad municipality 9 Jajarkot.
The Area Police Office, Sallibazar informed that all of the injured have been rushed to Nepalgunj for treatment.

Police have assumed high speed as the cause of accident. However, an investigation into the case is underway.
