7 killed 16 injured in Bajhang Jeep accident

Bajhang: Seven people have died in a jeep accident in Tufan Danda of Mashta Rural Municipality-1 in Bajhang this afternoon.

According to District Police Bajhang, 16 passengers have been injured in the accident. The police said many of the injured are in critical condition.

They are receiving treatment at the district hospital, Simkhet Nepal Police, Nepal Army, Armed Police Force and locals rescued the injured.

The deceased are yet to be identified.

The accident occurred when the jeep going to Khetkot in Mashta-2 from district headquarters Chainpur met with an accident.
