9th National Games kicks off in Pokhara

Pokhara: The 9th National Games kicked off on Friday.

Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun inaugurated the National Games amidst a special ceremony held in Pokhara Stadium.

At the inaugural session, a best wishes message sent by President Bidya Devi Bhandari was read out.

A total of 36 sports of the National Games have been featured in the grand sports event.

Some sports events commenced today while some are scheduled to take place on Saturday.
