Nepal’s Constitution has united the people in a thread of national unity: President Bhandari

September 19, Kathmandu: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said that the Constitution of Nepal has united Nepali society in a thread of broader national unity.

In a message issued on the occasion of Constitution Day, President Bhandari paid a heartfelt tribute to all martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of the republic.

The President offered respect to all the seniors for their guidance to lay the foundation for a democratic system in the country.

The President also expressed her best wishes to all Nepalis on the occasion of Constitution Day and National Day, 2079 BS.

The President stressed equal access to all citizens in the services and facilities to be provided by the state while implementing all the fundamental rights that are ensured by the constitution.

She has also expressed the confidence that all state bodies will play neutral and justifiable roles in the implementation of the constitution.

Likewise, President Bhandari has appealed to the voters to use their sovereign franchise by actively taking part in the elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) and provincial assembly slated for coming November 20.
