Chinese Leader Li pays courtesy call on President Bhandari

September 14, Kathmandu: The Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National people’s Congress of China, Li Zhanshu, paid a courtesy call on President Bidhya Devi Bhandari.

During the meeting held at President’s Office at Sheetal Niwas on Wednesday afternoon, President Bhandari expressed happiness over the Chinese leader’s visit to Nepal.

Saying Nepal has always been a good neighbour and a true friend of China, the Chinese Leader expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and respect he received during his Nepal visit at the cordial invitation of House Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota.

President Bhandari and Chairman Li discussed multiple aspects of Nepal-China relations including mutual interest, friendship, and cooperation.

Chairman Li is returning home on Thursday after concluding his four-day Nepal visit.
