NEA brings EV charging station into operation at its central office in Kathmandu
Kathmandu: Nepal Electricity Authority has brought a charging station into operation for electric vehicles at its central office premises in Kathmandu.
Energy Minister Pambha Bhusal inaugurated the charging station amidst a programme organized at the Ratnapark-based office on Tuesday.
Nepal Electricity Authority officials have shared that the authority has planned to set up 51 charging stations across the country.
The authority has a plan to set up fast charging stations along the highways and major cities. The officials said the existing electric vehicles in Nepal could be charged within a half hour to one hour while charging at the charging stations.
