391 COVID-19 cases in 24 hours
Kathmandu: The Health Ministry has recorded 391 new COVID-19 cases with no fatality in the past 24 hours in Nepal.
The caseloads were from a total of 3,981 tests, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
The infection included 216 in the Kathmandu Valley (185 in Kathmandu, 22 in Lalitpur and nine in Bhaktapur), said the Ministry’s spokesperson Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari at a regular press meet organised to update about COVID-19.
At present, the number of active cases is 2,276 including 1,270 in the Kathmandu Valley. At present, 2,143 infected people are in home isolation and 133 in institution isolation. Similarly, 21 have been admitted to the intensive care unit.
According to the Ministry, 46 infected people have got over the deadly virus in the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, 121,515 people received the COVID-19 vaccine today.
