Home Minister Khand and Chinese Ambassador Yanqi discuss bilateral issues

May 18, Kathmandu: The Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Hou Yanqi, paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Home Affairs, Bal Krishna Khand, on Wednesday.
According to the Home Ministry, during the meeting held at the Home Ministry, the Home Minister and the Chinese Ambassador discussed the matters of bilateral ties and mutual cooperation.
On the occasion, Ambassador Yanqi thanked the Nepal government and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba for successfully holding the local level election.
The Chinese Ambassador informed the Home Minister that the direct flight service from Kathmandu to China’s Kunming would begin on May 30.
Likewise, the Home Minister expressed his belief that the Chinese government would continue its assistance to Nepal in maintaining peace, stability, development, and prosperity.
