COVID-19:747 new cases with 8 deaths

Kathmandu: A total of 747 new cases of COVID-19 has been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. The new cases were revealed in 8,696 samples tested in various laboratories across the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Likewise, 2,319 people recovered today, taking the total recoveries to 940,902. The recovery rate is 96.6 per cent.

Also today, eight people succumbed to COVID-19, taking the death toll to 11,900 with a case fatality rate of 1.2 per cent. There are still 20,739 active cases of COVID-19 in the country.

Meanwhile, 216,118 people were vaccinated today against COVID-19.
