PM Deuba and US Assistant Secretary Lu agree on bolstering bilateral relations

November 18, Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Thursday met visiting US Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu at Prime Minister’s official residence Baluwatar.

Foreign Affairs Secretary Barat Raj Pudyal informed that Prime Minister Deuba and US Assistance Secretary of State Lu discussed matters relating to mutual welfare, Covid-19 crisis, vaccine support, and various aspects of multidimensional and bilateral relations.

The Foreign Secretary further said the US Assistant Secretary of State took Prime Minister Deuba’s request positively for financial and technical support from the US to address issues caused by the climate change.
