Health Ministry directed to make arrangement of ICUs with oxygen and ventilators in hospitals

April 27, Kathmandu: The Education and Health Committee of the House of Representatives has directed the Ministry of Health and Population to make arrangement of Intensive Care Units with oxygen and ventilators in hospitals for Covid-19 treatment.

The meeting of the parliamentary committee held at Singhadarbar on Tuesday, directed the Health Ministry to ensure sufficient isolation centers and quarantine facilities in collaboration with three tires of government.

The committee has also called on the ministry to depute skilled health workers in coivid-19 hit areas.

The ministry has also been directed to provide essential medical equipment to hospitals for Covid-19 treatment.
