National Reconstruction Authority reconstructs 93% of private housing within 6 years

April 23, Kathmandu: Chief Executive Officer of the National Reconstruction Authority Sushil Gyawali has said the reconstruction of infrastructure damaged by the 2015 Gorkha earthquake has entered the phase of completion.

Speaking at a press conference organized in Kathmandu, CEO Gyawali said the reconstruction efforts made by Nepal despite several adverse situations was the exemplary in the world.

He informed that the reconstruction work of the fundamental infrastructure would be accomplished within this fiscal year and remaining works would be handed over to the concerned bodies.

CEO Gyawali further said the Reconstruction Authority had made satisfactory achievement amidts covid-19 crisis. He said the Authority has gained 93% achievement in reconstructing private housing within 6 years.

The Reconstruction Authority has said Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will inaugurate the reconstructed Dharahar tomorrow.
