Nepal clinches Tri-nation Cup Football Tournament title thrashing Bangladesh by 2-1 goals

March 29, Kathamndu: Nepal has won the title of the tri-nation cup football tournament defeating Bangaladesh by 2-1 goals.

In the match held at the Dasarath Stadium in Kathamndu this evening, Sanjog Rai scored his debut goal with his superb strike in the 18th minute of the match. The goal became Nepal’s first international goal after 18 months.

Likewise, Bishal Rai doubled Nepal’s score in the 41st minutes of the first half.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh scored a consolation goal at the 81st minutes of the match.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli also witnessed the final match of the tournament at the stadium.
