EC provides election symbols to candidates for HoR and PA elections

Kathmandu: Election Commission has provided election symbols to candidates for the House of Representatives and Province Assembly elections scheduled for the 20^th of November.

According to the Commission, it provided the election symbols to the candidates at 4 PM on Wednesday after publishing the final name list of the candidates.

The Commission added that nearly 3 hundred candidates withdrew their candidacy on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission says 57 political parties have filed nominations towards the first-past-the-post system under the elections to the House of Representatives and the Province Assembly. 

According to the Commission, 17 million 988 thousand 5 hundred 70 people will be eligible for voting in November 20^th elections.
