Nepal and Italy sign MoU on establishing consultation mechanism

October 10, Kathmandu: The Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bharat Raj Paudyal, and the Ambassador of Italy to Nepal, Vincenzo de Luca, on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the establishment of a Bilateral Consultation Mechanism between the foreign affairs ministries of the two countries.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the mechanism will be an essential platform for holding dialogue on a regular basis between the two foreign affairs ministries.

“The MoU will be pivotal in further enhancing bilateral relations and promoting areas of cooperation between the two countries,” the Foreign Ministry said.
