Home Minister Khand directs concerned authorities for prompt rescue, relief and resettlement of victims of rain-induced disasters

Kathmandu: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has directed the concerned authorities to use helicopters for rescue, relief and resettlement of the victims of rain-induced disasters.

Home Minister Khand held telephone talks with chiefs of the subordinate bodies and instructed them to carry out prompt rescue and relief efforts.

In reply, Joint Chief District Officer of Dang, Sabitra Pun briefed the Home Minster that two helicopters were in ready position in Surkhet and having problems due to bad weather conditions.
