2 people died in a bus accident in Hetauda

Makwanpur: Two people were killed when a passenger bus met with an accident in the morning near Churiamai temple in Hetauda sub-metropolitan city of Makwanpur district under the East-West highway.

Spokesperson of District Police Office, Makwanpur, Tek Bahadur Karki, informed that the deceased have been identified as 60-year-old Dilli Bahadur Darzi, of Damak-5, Jhapa, and 51-year-old Kalpana Rajwanshi, of Belbari Municipality-8, Morang.

Police said that out of 36 people injured in the accident, 30 people have been ‘discharged’ after treatment and two people have been ‘referred’ to Kathmandu, and three people to Bharatpur for further treatment.

One injured person is being treated at Sancho Hospital in Hetauda.
