Doctors call for immediate measures to stem dengue outbreak

September 25, Kathmandu: Doctors have urged the government to immediately control dengue outbreak across the country.
The mosquito-borne viral disease has been taking its toll with health facilities being flooded with dengue patients.
During an event organized on Saturday, at the Reporter’s Club Nepal doctors said that the government, respective offices, and local levels should be serious about the outbreak.
They said that the Ministry of Health should launch the ‘search and destroy campaign’ two months earlier so as to avert dengue outbreak.
