PM Deuba reiterates government’s commitment to containing dengue

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has reiterated the government’s commitment to controlling dengue infection.

Inaugurating the Second Nepal Medical National Health Conference on Tuesday, Prime Minister Deuba said the government had managed the proper treatment of dengue infection at a time when Covid-19 was still a health nuisance.

The PM also urged the doctors to provide necessary help as they did during the Covid-19 pandemic expressing hope that the conference could contribute to formulating health strategies and policies.

More than five hundred doctors from five countries are attending the conference.
